Challenge
Bycads sells oversized graphic T-shirts for men and women, grouped into story-led drops such as Vikings, Pirates and Tribes. Dcrayon built the Shopify store that carries the range.
Graphic drops with a story behind every print
Bycads designs cotton tees with bold prints, plus polos, lowers, co-ord sets and a women's line. On 13 Oct 2026 the store listed 190 products with 2,125 size and colour variants. The brand releases designs in themed drops, and each theme has its own voice: "Vikings didn't ask for permission", or "Pirates didn't follow maps that already existed".
More than 2,000 size and colour combinations
Every product comes in several sizes, and almost every one in more than one colour. On a phone, the buyer has to see quickly which combinations exist and pick one without opening a separate page for each.
Designs that sell on story, not on garment type
A shopper drawn to the Viking prints wants every Viking design in one place, whatever the cut. Grouping only by T-shirt, polo or lower would scatter a theme across the site.
An oversized fit that buyers need to size correctly
Oversized tees are cut larger than a regular fit on purpose. Without a size reference on the product page, buyers guess, and a wrong guess can mean a return.
Solution
A Rise theme copy prepared for GoKwik
The store runs on Rise (version 15.4.1), one of Shopify's free themes, in a customised copy named for Bycads and set up for the GoKwik one-page checkout. The homepage is built from Rise sections: an announcement bar, a hero slideshow, a collection list, a long run of featured-collection rows, custom Liquid blocks and a collapsible FAQ block. This is our Shopify development service.
Collections organised by theme first
The main menu leads with the stories: Fashion Street, Vikings, Tribes, Cowboy, Typography, Pirates and Character, then Women, Latest Drop and Sale, then garment types such as Lower, Polo and Sports. On the homepage, a "Shop by Style" row gives each theme a card with the opening line of its story, so the shopper picks a mood before a product. Latest Drop and Steal the Deal rows follow.
Size charts and grouped variants on product pages
Product pages carry size and colour selectors and a size chart, so a buyer can check the oversized cut before adding to cart. Many product titles state the fabric weight (240 GSM, grams per square metre, a measure of how heavy the cotton is) and the fit. The structured data groups every size and colour under one product with ProductGroup markup, which tells search engines that the variants belong together. A bar at the top of every page carries the current multi-buy code, the cart reminds buyers of the prepaid discount, and checkout runs through GoKwik. Our e-commerce solutions cover this kind of checkout set-up.

Browsing Bycads by story
Shoppers can browse Bycads by story, see every design in a theme together, choose size and colour on one page with a size chart to hand, and check out on a single screen. The Bycads team adds new drops as collections with their own story card, without changing the theme.

Key takeaways
Organising streetwear the way buyers think
Graphic streetwear is bought on identity. Organising the store by the stories behind the prints, rather than by garment type alone, matches how the brand designs and how its buyers browse. Where a range runs to thousands of variants, clear selectors, a size chart and grouped structured data do more for the shopper than extra banners.
