Challenge
GRYT Health Labs sells whey protein, creatine, pre-workout, ashwagandha and omega capsules, plus gym shakers, to shoppers across India. Its store at gryt.co.in runs on a custom Laravel build.
The range on 13 October 2026 included vanilla whey protein concentrate, unflavoured creatine monohydrate, a pre-workout supplement, ashwagandha capsules, omega 3-6-9 flaxseed oil capsules and plastic and steel shaker bottles, sold singly, in packs of two and in combos such as creatine with pre-workout. The brand is owned and operated by a registered business named on the store. The work covered here is the storefront and the conversion and content brief Dcrayon wrote for it in June 2026.
What a supplement store has to show before it sells
Supplement buyers check credentials before they check prices.
In India, health supplements fall under the food regulator, and buyers look for proof that a brand is licensed and knows who makes its products. The licence and the owning business need to be easy to find on the store itself, not only on request.
Most of the range sells in packs and combos.
Creatine, pre-workout and capsules are often bought two at a time or bundled with a shaker. Selling every pack size as an unrelated product makes the saving hard to see and the cart harder to build.
The store needed a plan for higher order values.
By June 2026 the store was trading, with a cart drawer and cash on delivery in place. The open question was which additions would raise average order value and give product pages richer content, without bending supplement claims beyond what the rules allow.
Solution
Compliance pages and pack options on gryt.co.in
The store gives GRYT's compliance details their own pages: an FSSAI licence page, FSSAI being the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, alongside shipping, returns, privacy, cookie, help and order-tracking pages. The About page states which registered business owns the brand and processes orders and invoices. Products are presented in New Arrival, Collections, Bestsellers, Offers and Sale views, with "Pack of 2" listings beside single units and a pack picker that shows the saving for each quantity before the shopper adds it to the cart. Product pages also offer "Buy Now", a frequently-bought-together block, related products and recently viewed items, and checkout accepts UPI and cash on delivery.
The Laravel storefront under GRYT
Laravel is a PHP framework for web applications. Instead of a packaged theme, the storefront shares its front-end foundation with the codebase Dcrayon uses for other D2C brands, including the Keratine Professional store: server-rendered pages, Alpine.js for the cart drawer, wishlist and pack picker, and assets built with Vite. Product pages carry Product, BreadcrumbList and FAQPage structured data, the code that tells search engines what a page describes, and the store publishes a sitemap. The live site is served over HTTPS with HSTS and sends nosniff, frame, referrer and permissions policy headers. This is the custom web application side of the work.
The June 2026 conversion and content brief
On 22 June 2026 Dcrayon delivered a written brief for the store, set against stated rules: no invented ratings or review counts, no invented statistics, and supplement wording kept within FSSAI and dietary-supplement limits, with no disease claims. It recommended a Buy Now route straight to a one-item checkout; express checkout for returning customers, with cash on delivery kept as a parallel option; recommended add-ons and a free-shipping progress bar inside the cart drawer; a single order-bump add-on at checkout; and a repeatable product content template covering benefits, what is inside each serving, how to use it, a comparison strip, FAQs and a sticky add-to-cart bar on mobile.
The brief also included a ready-to-paste review card that links to GRYT's Google reviews and deliberately shows no average or count until genuine numbers exist. Each item came with Laravel implementation notes covering the routes, Blade partials (Laravel's reusable template pieces) and checkout changes it needs. This was conversion optimisation work, and the items remain recommendations for the store.
GRYT storefront parts and their jobs
The parts of the GRYT store that answer the issues above.
| Application part | What it does in this project |
|---|---|
| FSSAI licence and About pages | Show the licence and the registered owner of the brand |
| Pack picker | Shows the saving for one unit, a pack of two or more before adding to cart |
| Cart drawer and Buy Now | Keep the shopper on the page or send one item straight to checkout |
| Structured data and sitemap | Product, breadcrumb and FAQ records for search engines |
Results
What GRYT shoppers can do on the store
Shoppers can check the brand's licence and ownership details, compare single units with packs of two and see the saving, add combos and shakers in one visit, and pay by UPI or on delivery. Product pages offer a Buy Now button, a frequently-bought-together block and FAQ answers that search engines can read as structured data. The brief gives GRYT a numbered list of conversion and content changes with the compliance rules attached. GRYT's trading figures are not published.

Key takeaways
Writing compliance limits into a conversion plan
A store that sells supplements earns trust through details that are easy to check: a licence page, a named owner, clear pack sizes. The brief written for GRYT shows the other half of the job, which is writing every conversion idea down with the compliance limits beside it, so that nothing added later overstates a product.
For the features worth building into a Laravel store, see our guide to building a high-converting e-commerce website with Laravel. The Keratine Professional storefront case study shows the same storefront foundation used for a hair care brand.
